A community Dance and Movement showcase in Crawley!

DanceHub CIC are always proud to produce this annual event working with Crawley Borough Council and the Hawth Theatre to bring Forward Motion in 2025 and beyond.

The ethos of Forward Motion has been integral to its success for over 25 years encouraging dancers from communities across Crawley to come together in a creative celebration of Dance and Movement showcased on the Hawth stage

Crawley is brimming with diverse cultures and communities; Forward Motion aims to engage with, and showcase, these communities through the power of Dance and Movement. It is an inclusive and accessible platform for all dancers regardless of age, ability or background to have a chance to perform on stage, surrounded by other supportive and encouraging Crawley based dance creatives.

Forward Motion would not be possible without the hard work, dedication and artistry of the many dance organisations within Crawley and the performances over the weekend celebrate and highlight this.

This event is not to be missed as dancers from across the borough come together to showcase their talents at a fun, inclusive and positive showcase.

If that wasn’t’ enough, Forward Motion 2025 will be kickstarting Crawley’s first ever festival of Dance and Movement running throughout March and April which will unite local people, spotlight Crawley’s diverse dance community and engage new creatives and audiences through a range of events, activities and campaigns.
