Continuing Professional Development (CPD) with DanceHub is an opportunity for you to develop your knowledge and skills whether you’re a dancer, a teacher running your own classes/dance school, a choreographer, an arts administrator, or simply interested in Dance and Movement.
We can provide you with a variety of activities and content from partners, our in-house training team and in-person workshops that allow you to develop your skills.
Level 2 Dance Leadership Course
Our Dance Leadership program in Brighton and Crawley provides an excellent opportunity for local learners to enhance their choreography and leadership skills.
Through expert guidance over a series of tutored hours, participants will not only fuel their passion for dance but also acquire transformative skills, experiences, and qualifications.
Our nationally recognised Level 2 Dance Leaders Qualification is an inclusive programme designed to empower young individuals aged 13-18.
By participating in this welcoming initiative, they will:
- Motivate and inspire others.
- Explore creativity through movement.
- Improve self-confidence.
*We have limited availability of fully funded spaces for young people from low-income families, to provide them with the opportunity to attend this course.
First Aid Training
Delivered by Pro Training, in this course you will gain vital knowledge about the essentials of First Aid for your workplace to prepare yourself to deal with emergencies. Start training now to save lives within your dance space.

Delivery Adaption Training
We have been working alongside Stopgap Dance Company to train our team about disability awareness and delivery adaption.

LGBTQ+ Inclusive Online Training
During this online course you’ll understand the steps you can take to start to make your club/sport a more welcoming and inclusive environment for members of the LGBTQ+ Community.
What you’ll learn:
- Understanding the challenges LGBTQ+ people can face
- Appropriate use of LGBTQ+ terminology
- How to be an ally to LGBTQ+ people
- Creating an inclusive environment and culture
Created in collaboration with Racing Pride and delivered by Accelerate Sport, the course will culminate in an assessment, which will see you awarded with a certificate and CPD points on successful completion.
Mental Health Awareness for Sport and Physical Activity+
This eLearning course will increase your knowledge and understanding of mental health, giving you the practical skills and strategies to be able to:
- build people’s resilience, self-esteem and confidence
- adapt your sessions to make them more inclusive
- enable and support mental health recovery
- tackle stigma and discrimination.

At DanceHub in partnership with Marina Studios, we offer a unique ‘real world’ opportunity for your work experience. If you’re passionate about Dance but want to explore the operational side of running a studio rather than teaching, our hands-on work experience program is perfect for you!
Join us and get involved in:
- Studio/Reception: Assist with the day-to-day operations of a busy dance studio, from scheduling classes to maintaining facilities and welcoming customers.
- Marketing and Promotions: Gain experience in promoting dance classes and events through social media and other channels.
