Partners
Crawley Community Youth Services and DanceHub
Partnership work with CCYS; Crawley Community Youth Services and DanceHub CIC working together in Crawley to continue collaborating to inspire and empower young people. Guided by the Y.E.S Project model, we will:
- Develop Dormans Youth Arts Centre into a hub of youth-led activity, creativity and expression for the next generation.
- Create and develop clear leadership pathways across Dance, Media, Youth Work, Sport and Art via Gen Y.E.S.
- Deliver more Youth Work and Y.E.S Project sessions.
- Connect young people to artists, opportunities and networks that broaden their horizons and ambitions
Throughout all we do, we prioritise youth voice and ensure a partnership approach is at the forefront to impact Young People across Crawley.
Dormans Youth Arts Centre; DanceHub CIC and Crawley Community Youth Services are working together to make new spaces where young people can discover, grow and flourish creatively, socially and artistically.
The long-term vision is to develop creative hubs for dance, media, music and the arts that provide accessible opportunities for young people to learn, create, collaborate and develop future pathways.
Our shared mission statement with Stopgap
DanceHub and Stopgap are working in partnership to foster a positive and supportive culture, aiming for Dance and Movement to be accessible to all. Our shared commitment to inclusivity is focused on removing barriers and improving access to participation through targeted Dance and Movement initiatives.
This includes: workforce training and development, access advice, performance and participation opportunities
